Has anyone fitted a Kriega tank adapter to their Multistrada? I was going to fit mine this evening but I was a little concerned the front straps that generally fit to the radiator mounts ( on previous bikes) will chaff all those very important electric cables that are tucked away either side of the headstock ! Any thoughts?
The front straps loop through the top of the frame tubes that are just forward of the tank-down in the gap on the inside of the plastic of the cockpit. Bloody fiddly to get to I know. Best if plastic & tank removed. Ensure they are under the wiring, not over any wiring. I leave mine there when the bag is off and just thread them over and over the frame tube, again, under the wiring. Works fine.
