  1. looking to get new lid with bluetooth , for music, sat nav, phone and telling the misses to stop punching me when i overtake something ! any recommendations?

  2. The latest Shark helmets have their own bluetooth system called....wait for it......

    .....Sharkstooth!

  3. I have been using a schuberth and a nolan both with bluetooth both work ok but there are cheaper options on the market. I dont know what the bike to bike range is like. the schuberth has more functions and is a quieter helmet but not cheap.

  4. Me and Mrs have the viper flip front ones and have had them for 3 years now, wireless intercom is really good, and one of my mates also had one and worked pretty well bike to bike.

For the money i have been pretty impressed with them.

  5. Have you thought of attaching a bluetooth headset instead. Sena smh10 is awesome kit. excellent bike to bike, phone, music quality. They are very easy to fit and also means you can keep your favorite lid or change and just swap the headset over. With an extra headset clamp you can easily swap through all your lids if nessecary. Havent worked out difference in costs though but certainly flexible option.

  6. Scala q2 or q4 are shite hot too , me and princess have got them the q2 has all the mp3 satnav intercom radio gubbins with a range of 750m the q4 1000m

  7. I'd like a Bluetooth helmet but cannot abide the limpet ones. My marra has a Nolan N85 with the NCom Bluetooth. Both are impressive bits of kit.

Im going to have a look at the AGVoice and the S4 SV helmet as a cheaper combo.

  8. I just got a Sena SMH5 kit. Was £170 for the dual kit and I'm really impressed.

  10. Its great not to have to see advertising on this site

I have the SMH10 Sena. i would say it as a very good system up until about 80mph. Others seem to have had better success with it for volume etc. maybe having a chinguard would make a big difference.

if you do go for the SENA make sure you get the latest model as they have just released a firmware update that I can tapply to the one I bought just a year ago. They both look identical but apparently their is a different connection on the newer ones.

A couple of pics to show how bulky it looks on the helmet.
