Yep, Easy to fit and look good.... Granted, would look even better if the tank was on the actual bike too!
I had something similar on a 1098 from QB Carbon http://worldofqbcarbon.com/store/ducati/748/cat_22.html. From the pics, the QB one goes a bit further up the tank and is shaped around the filler cap. I bought it as on track days i was rubbing the paint on the top rear of the tank (i wasnt even that fat back then) and it stopped that. I think the price was comparable to the one youre looking at. Stuck on with silicone which they provided a tube of.
