  1. Guys, as the title anyone using the Termi spli on can on their Multi V4?

I've got the Akra slip on as the dealer done me a deal on the sport pack when I purchased the bike, but the Akra slip on can is a bit underwhelming. No louder than the stock imho. I don't really want to go to the expense of a full akra system, just something a bit louder. This Termi does sound a bit louder in the Youtube videos, anyone have one?

  2. I think you might find that the majority of the sound damping is done by the cat (rather than the end-can). I don’t know if the V4 still has the exhaust flap, so you could try deleting that if it has, to get a bit more noise low down. If you want properly loud then a decat / full system is about the only option.

  3. Both the Termignoni and Akrapovic slip-on end cans provide no ‘silencing’, they only change the tone. If you want more noise, a decat is the way to go. It is also important to note, any end can you use with decat pipework will require a baffle, if you value your sanity. The constant excessively loud drone from the exhaust on long journeys will piss you off and will most definitely piss your neighbours off. Andy

  4. I wanted an after market end can, Akrapovic or Termignioni, but didn’t want the entire system, just for it to fail the MOT. Snells demo had the Akra end can only and it didn’t sound any different. I would buy a used one off here but not a new one at RRP.
