Ah, cancelled order - go for a cheeky offer Go in asking for something they haven't got and let them persuade you to change your mind
Ducati Wolves have a white one. Ive just bought the red one they had! Picking it up Wednesday and cant wait!!
From contacting a few dealers, no discounts and no immediate stock of the red. What worries me is, while I wait for an order the weather gets even crappier than it is now (rain but dries up quick) and the deposit is not refundable.
Don't worry about the weather, it will get better, then get worse, then get better, then get worse , then get better, then get worse and so on, surely you have noticed this pattern over the years ? Don't worry about a refund, just wait for your bike, how long have you got to wait ? I`d have gone for a white one if that was available from stock. The 899 is beautiful in either so why worry ? No discount is good news for existing owners and good for Ducati , isn't discounting a new model a sign of weakness ?
I`m not sure if they list their unregistered stock on their sites but you could email the dealers that are close to you and ask what they have if that suits you better than phoning them. Alternatively email Ducati UK and ask them which dealers have stock to save you sending multiple emails. Maybe try Aylesbury first as they seem to sell a high quantity so a fair chance they will have stock. I may be going there on saturday, unless it is pissing down. If I go and they have stock I`ll let you know.
Oh sorry ..... Fooking inter web Getting a bit fed up of the bullshit You not interested in a secondhand 1 ?
Surely the best thing to do if you are serious about this is to stop asking the other forum users and spend the time you save asking the dealers that are in your target area ?
Yeah I've done this, was hoping someone might see one in their area and tell me on here. Only one dealer is willing to correspond via email (I can't make personal calls in the day) and they're 60 miles away from me (no stock and don't think they can do ventureshield). Hopefully I'll soon be asking annoying questions about where is the best place to service a panigale lol.
