Anyone Know Someone Who Could Machine Pattern On Something?

  1. I recently fitted some different footpegs to my 1200 Multistrada and also bought a Palmer Products gear shift. The metal gear lever is not terribly attractive and also potentially slippery in wet weather.

Does anyone know a company, or individual that could machine a pattern onto this?

Something like these (doesn't need to be so fancy)

The alternative is to get something better looking made up.

  2. Any machine shop will do that for you . It's called Knurling.

  3. What size is it?

  4. 55 mm long, diameter of 20mm

And I don't know any machine shops...

  5. That is big for a gear lever part. Do you want it that big? What size bolt goes through it?

  6. Stainless or alloy?

  7. there must be someone who knows a machine shop near you. Where in Surrey do you reside

  8. A machine shop would charge you about £30 for a one off like that if it was invoiced but if you went in the back door you may get it done for next to nothing.

  9. search toe spigot on ebay - you'll pick them up knurled and ready for about 2 pounds.

  10. Thanks I think I've found one.
