That scraping sound has to be the worst sound in the world. I'd have been turning the bike off a little faster than he did, bearing in mind it was running on it's side.
That's what I was thinking. Some people have no clue. Bike on side, engine still running- cue phsyco soundtrack.... eeeek....
Looks ridiculously slow to lose the front end. Maybe oil on track, rain possibly, or that's at the very end of some very hard braking and just shows the point where it folded.
Panic braked as carried too much speed, probably first ever lap. He's started his turn way too early, you can see the turn in point by the yellow block of graffiti on the armco. He's way too early so is then never gonna hit his mid apexwhich is really late so then his track position is compromised for the right turn. Basic first timer looking at tree/armco line and not realising it hooks left. He then is on gas as he thinks he is exiting the corner when in reality he's not even at the apex yet, panics and grabs brakes and down.
10 Years ago we were watching at a layby, in a 400 metre section of an S bend. Asked the chip van man if he saw many accidents. He said in a typical German matter of fact way "oh only about 5 a day"
Go to Adenau Forst, the section in the video on a weekend and it's quite entertaining. Aside from the cars and bikes screwing it up. It can be good for this; ma friend of ours in his Z3m, sadly he has now sold it.
I've bern over that block paving at that point twice, its the only place you can actually get away with 'fucking it up'.
