I have fitted the SW Motech bar risers and have the issue of the throttle being pulled on full steering lock. I have seen mention of this issue and of someone re-routing their cables but no details of how. I have had the tank off but can't then work out how to remove the air box to see if that gets me any closer. It's all pretty crowded down there! Cheers Nick
I tried to re-route my cables on the 999 but it didn't work very well. I made new cables up. Used all the old hardware with longer inners and outers , 50mm on the 999 . Dont know about your bike but I also had to lengthen the fast Idle cable as that would also over rev it on the other lock.
