I have a C-Tek for the car but it looks like the Multi uses an optimate socket, anyone know if there is an adapter available? Looked on Amazon, but not sure what the actual bike socket is?
A picture would help. Is the socket on the bike white plastic with the terminals fully enclosed or is it black with an exposed bullet shaped terminal and a socket enclosed in the plastic ? Andy
I just tagged some extra fly leads on to my battery to suit my charger as I do with all my bikes. I never bothered with the pre-fitted connector. The tail of those fly leads I leave hanging out under the seat for easy connection when its in the garage.
Just Google C-Tek adaptor. Personally I would fit the C-Tek battery monitor fly lead. I run one of these to an Optimate via an adaptor.
I would be careful using a car charger on a bike, the output could be too high especially if the battery is deeply discharged. I have the Optimate 4 and that is 0.8A, my car charger is 12A
