I've got to ask. Why are you not using the FCR 41s. I've a brand new set waiting to be fitted to my SS. Had you problems with them?

FCRs Once set up and fuel pressure reduced with a T piece they are infinitely better the the std CV's. more power, torque, noise and better mpg. No icing either and no choke required. They don't like being over pressured as they can work with gravity fed fuel systems.
until the mixture screws wind themselves out and piss fuel all over your engine. Ahh well, you live and learn!
