Any one got one (the little box) bought one today.................pile o sh*t. When I eventually got me ipad connected the movie just went blank!! still had sound!! as for the other bits the smart tv I'm running it through does all that grrrrrrrrr
I have one, no problems at all. I use it stream music / videos / photos from computer, Air Play from laptop and watch Netflix. Works really well for me.
Glid might be able to assist ( from a distance)- try a PM. He has 'previous' ( current) in knowledge of apple stuff. Ibve got one in a box - bought last fri- that I've yet to set up!
Yep works ok for me, altho don't use too much as it doesn't have i player and now have catch up on sky
Can you play BBC iPlayer (and other on demand but non iTunes services) from an iPad onto a TV via the Apple TV ? And music stored on the iPad ?
Have you done an upgrade on the box? If not that's almost certainly what's wrong. Go to settings and scroll down. Upgrade should sort it out.
My brother has it. Seems awfully complicated to me. However I'm sure my two year old grandson could set it up.
I have had mine a year, maybe more and get on really well with it, the only issue I had is when it didn't want to do a software update, and then when the next update came through it was fine. The unit itself has never crashed and never had a film fail. I would suggest that as good as Wi-Fi can be, if you possibly can get it plugged in via LAN (wired) cable, it is the most reliable.
I now have the avplayerhd app, someone told me about I've put some movies on. I just tried to play one, I can hear the sound but have no picture grrrrrrrrrrr I checked for an update and it said it was up to date. Oh I wish I had some 11 year old kids in the house!! Any ideas??
