Aprilia Shiver 750

  1. Had a good look at one of these today and can't believe how much bike you can get for your money, I'm looking to change my 600SS later this year, was looking at a 749 but I am struggling physically with a sports bike, bad back and all.

Any way I love the styling of the Aprillia, 100 bhp is enough for me and a perfect one can be picked up for around £3500, might even keep the 600SS as well (if negotiations with SWMBO go in my favour)

Anyone owned or had any experience of one?

  2. Certainly worth a test ride.I had about an hour on a Shiver Gt a few years ago and I was very impressed.Enough get up and go along with a nice grunty engine. Not your normal run of the mill bike, but something with a bit of character.

  3. That's what I thought, I'm going to arrange to ride the one local to me.

  4. Its a great looking bike but in that category i would be looking at a Street Triple.

  5. Street triples are brill but they start at £3500 that's not gonna get a super tidy one

  6. The Triumph does nothing for me. I want an Italian V twin, I like the idiosyncratic styling of the Aprilia, its something a bit different.
