Aragon sbk times

  1. Does anyone know if the superbikes are running the same layout as motogp use as the times are about 7secs slower

  2. Ado they both use the FIM layout? Moto gp seem to, 50xx m length

    Are you saying the track length is the same. So the superbikes are no faster than moto 2's

  4. the SBK use a different track to the GP!

    The difference is at the end of the long back straight where the GP go around a long sweeping left hander. The SBK come to a virtual stop at the end of the straight described as similar to the hairpin at Mallory before coming back around a right then left to the SF line....

  5. Had a quick google, and FIM and FIA have different lengths yes, but couldnt find anythung which gave the answer. Seems Andy has...and it would make sense to ave them dfferent so organisers cant have direct comparison

  6. Andy is right : WSBK is indeed 300 m longer and there is a bit of a right left long chicane after the hairpin at the end of the then very long downhill run at the bottom of the track. must be some scary braking..

    to make sure they're not faster then GP...

    love the long left bit blind sweeper before the straight.. :)

    can't wait to go back!

    ps : it s the long straight that s killing the pani today... lacking top speed..

  9. good first race ,well done chas davies and rae ,seems the big boys were let down with reliability again
    Checa has the reliability just not the speed he got knocked over by a golf buggy or something :biggrin:

  11. yes .. beemer quit impressive straight line speed.. electronics play up... checa outdragged the local farmer.. :)
    stories about not being fit due to karting accident... doens't anyone tell these guys they should refrain from all such sports?

  12. How about the theory the bike aint good enough?......the Honda is not good enough anymore but its got to the end of its life.......Honda need something new. Ducati, its a new bike with a lot of development behind it......good enough,hmmmmm?

  13. Honda and Yamaha release their new SB in 2014 and will return to wsb in 2014 with factory supported bikes.

    As for the Pani! biggest cover up ever pre release! even payed Bayliss to big it up releasing false times from test's. :wink:
