Ok folks, i'm an idiot. I bought a RX7-V in a small last year in the hope that I could tweak the pads to make it fit. Decided it gave me a headache after wearing it in the house for 10 minutes so sold it at a loss. I then bought a medium from Shirlaws in Aberdeen with the intention of getting some custom pads made up. Long story short, the guy at Crossan Motorcycles (the Visor Shop) that does the pads called me an idiot in between puffs of his e-cig and told me that I was pissing in the wind with a medium and should instead buy another bloody small for him to tweak for me (he does all the Irish road racers lids). So yeah. Who wants a very cheap, completely brand new and unworn, still tagged, MEDIUM RX7-V!? Unfortunately I've tried every single well spec'd race helmet with minimal success. I used to always wear a medium Arai but they're too loose at the cheeks now that they've changed the shell shape. Luckily the dude in Ireland can work magic and make a small considerably more comfortable by working the foam lining to suit my head then bulking up the cheek pads a wee bit.
