For Sale Arlen Ness High Spec 2 Piece Leathers

Discussion in 'Parts, Accessories & Clothing For Sale' started by AndyW, Aug 10, 2014.

  1. Can't find the original paperwork right now but here's the basics....good used condition - all zips A-ok, all stitching A-ok, no tears or other damage (other than typical wear & tear that is normal/expected on used leathers).
Bought in March 2005 but not used after end of June 2006 - bike crash [not wearing these leathers!] had me laid up for 2 years......never achieved my previous size/weight! ;-(

    Size L - but I wouldn't say they'd fit a typical 'large' person - I would say 5'10" to '6' and sub 80 kilos weight.....Mr Average.
Update: Found a tailors tape measure and ran that round the inside of the waist of the trousers:
suit someone up to 35.5inches / 90cm waist and jacket chest up to 42inch / 107cm.

Jacket is Kangeroo Skin, CE approved armour to elbows, shoulders and back plus external Titanium 'sliders' to elbows and shoulders + other double thickness or padded areas.
Trousers are top quality cow skin with CE approved protectors for the knees and hips + other double thickness or padded areas.
These are great summer leathers with lots of ventilation via fabric sections (arm pits, back of knees) and perforated leather inserts.

Jacket and trousers zip together via 3/4 zip.
    Zip in liners included.

Cost in excess of £800.............bargain price for quick sale: £300
....collection only - imo try before you buy is essential. (less than 2 miles from M5 J21, Weston Super Mare)

  2. I also have these leathers, very good quality and lightweight jacket owing to the skippy skin.

  3. Yeah they're superb and were a great fit for me.............hence I've kept them unused all this time hoping to get back into them before deciding to sell.

  4. Stop eating pies :)

  5. Lol......the beer and vino might be part of the problem also! - at a certain age now and with the damage to my leg and lower back problem am plain just not as active as I'd like to be so not burning the calories. Yes I should try harder, I have gotten close but over winter especially the weight just goes back on.....decided to take the easy option and stick with the textiles.
