Yes but oddly the present-day Turkish government strenuously objects if anybody refers to the Armenian genocide as a genocide. They appear to regard it as an up-to-date thing still worth arguing about - and denying.
We went to the Interceltique festival in Normandy last year. All things as you can imagine Celtic from Scotland, Ireland, Wales and France, hosted by Australia! It's mad topsy turvy world we live in!
