A recommendation. SAS-TEC has new-ish "Evo" armour that surpasses the CE Level 2 test by around 50 per cent. I've found it at least as comfy as D3O; the new Evo armour is substantially softer than the old (rock-hard!) SAS-TEC stuff. Also, it's yellow I've been using SAS-TEC's snappily named SC-1/Evo2 elbow armour. It fits Alpinstars jackets (mine, at least) better than the original elbow protectors. I don't know if the shoulder armour (SAS-TEC SC-1/Evo1) fits Alpinestars jackets, as I haven't tried it, but you can sew Velcro onto the Evo armour if required. Since Brexit, SAS-TEC can be tricky to buy except via a handful of eBay sellers in Germany. However, RTX Gear is a UK stockist (I have no affiliation with them). Ducati Yellow is cool
