my 1260s arriving next week, Ducati Manchester have taken it off demo and it’s done 400 miles. It’s being Delivered next week, I can’t wait after writing off the first one in November. Question is , can they service it at 400 miles or will I have a trip to the dealers after a couple of hundred miles on it? And I plan to fit the evotech oil and rad guards, as I’m not quite fit enough to ride yet.. are they easy to fit? Looks like half the front of the bike has to come off to get it on ?
Not sure about the service info Oly, but I’ve just fitted the evotech grills and its not too big of a job, yes the front panels have to come off but take your time and remember where all the fastenings are. There are fitting instructions on the evotech website too. I also had the lower belly pans powered coated while everything was off. And hope you have better luck with the new bike than the last one
I asked about the service but we will hVe to wait and see. The evotech stuff looks good, I will be a month before I’m fit to ride so Plenty of time to fit them. It’s being delivered this time. Need to Make sure this one gets home!
The good thing about refitting the radiator guards is you only need 3 & 4mm Allen keys for the entire job.
