Has anyone fitted a Arrow full system as I have been having real issues trying to get the exhaust actuator valve out from the frame. Having looked at the schematics and the photographic stages (thanks Andy)in the forum article I still haven't been able to get it out? I have a lovely system waiting to be used but can't due to this issue alone. Also do you actually have to remove the centre stand to get the belly pan unbolted, really? Any help please
Haven't fitted an Arrow but have fitted a LeoVince. Dealing with exhaust valve actuator was the biggest pig in the process. I followed this guide here: http://mts1200.info/mts12_faq/mts1200_decat/Multistrada_1200_Exhaust_System_Change.htm You have to loosen off the rear subframe and pivot it upwards. Having a helper to lift the rear subframe helps. The hardest thing for me was trying to extract the cable where it comes into the plastic housing that the actuator sits in. The metal sleeve at the end of the cable fouls on the housing and the only thing I can advise is perseverance. It took me about an hour and my hands were shredded by the end. But it is possible.
