Hi, new on here but old member from Ducatisti.co.uk. Good to see a new uk forum. Im about to purchase some black long levers with red adjusters for my 848, has anyone got any opinions on which to go for between the pazzo and asv? I believe the asv are slightly better quality and £20 more, is this the case? Anyone seen both in the flesh? Any opinions based purely on aesthetics? Thanks...
Yeah, I looked at both before I went for the pazzo's for my 848. Absolutely nothing in it tho, as the asv's are lovely looking pieces of kit, well made and everything too. The pazzo's have been on for just under a year and I've had no problems what so ever, they are just there and they work. I did in the end choose the shorties, as I A) only have small hands. ( it does have it's benefits, other parts look bigger  ) B) have a bigger clutch slave cylinder on and C) have mono block callipers on, I didn't need the leverage from the full size levers. Hope that helps, but hopefully some one who uses asv's may give you a bit more 'in use' info.
Chazzo's for me. £27 delivered from China. Despite the warnings, the anodising hasn't rubbed off and I haven't died. Go figure.
Same here - the2wheels.com: they look great, work great and were the right price. They don't 'feel' or indeed look that price either and definitely don't feel like they would fall apart, well anymore than the standard levers anyway!
I put on Pazzos with neat little blue adjusters and am very happy with them. They look the biz. But they don't come cheap and there is no way I'd lash out more sponds for something even more hideously expensive. Just how much should bits of anodised drilled billet be for god's sake?
Best copied levers are off eBay from seller called the2wheels. I've got a set of these on my monster. Bargain at £27 delivered, however it's fairly obvious the quality isn't quite on the same level as pazzo. The actual lever itself is fine, but they can be fiddly to fit and not 100% perfect. I had a set on my last monster too. Asv have been on my 848 for about 18 months, and they are lovely. Loads more adjustability , better fit and look nicer too. However at £150 they cost a chunk.
I went for the really expensive Chinese levers at £37 delivered but they are the fold up version, fitted both in 10 mins on my 748. Steve
I cant remeber which ones I bought from ebay but there is a huge choice on there. Follow the 100% feedbacks and you wont go wrong IMO
ASV's for me. Had them for over a year, black with red adjuster. sburrows87 where did you get your foamy lever covers?
Hi damdam, they are called 'grip puppies' and sport touring in wales (i think thats what it was called) does them. I find them ideal as they take some pressure off my palms, help to reduced vibrations and feel better also. Mine are a little worn now and I could do with a new set again. They just slide over your existing grips.
Ebay Chazzo's on my track bike (the2wheels). Fantastic, want to get some more for other bikes. Polished finish for me.
