ASV Shorty Levers

Discussion in 'Parts, Accessories & Clothing For Sale' started by gremlyng, Mar 13, 2014.

  1. Hi all,

I recently bought my 1098s and it came with a brand new pair of ASV shorty levers finished in black with a red adjustment wheels.

I'm sticking the STD levers back on as I find the ASV's too short and uncomfortable for me, I'm interested in selling them or possibly swapping them for a 'regular' length set in the same condition, would also be interested in Harris Performance levers, but not wanting titax, evotech etc....

My shortys are as brand new and will come in the original box.

Open to sensible offers, if interested please feel free to drop me an email ;-)

    Cheers

  2. If you want some original levers, you can have mine for the price of postage. Im not at home at the moment, but will hunt them down this afternoon and take some pics

  3. Thanks for the kind offer. I already have the original levers and they are in great condition. I'm wanting to either sell the ASV's or swap them for the longer type in similar condition.

  9. Still for sale guys they are as new in the box, granted they have been fitted and used on the bike twice but even so I think they are a good buy at £120 delivered - New on Ebay the cheapest I could find in the UK was £186.

  10. Hi mate I'm interested if they will fit a multistrada

  11. Not sure if they'll fit a Multistrada ? Not sure if you can cross reference the item number from the manufacturer?

The code on the box is 'BRC550-SK' (Brake Lever) & 'CRC550' (Clutch)

There is a compatibility chart on a leaflet within the box which says:

  14. Just a thought....could you replace the levers with long ones? Are they like Pazzo's where the lever attaches to a base part which then goes into the OEM clutch/brake fitting? The base is a different design dependent on the bike but the lever is the same for all.

  15. I think if I was to get the correct model longer or regular length ASV levers hey would fit just the same as the shorty's. Only thing you have to make sure of is that you use the plunger pins that come with the levers and remove the STD ones otherwise your in trouble as your brakes will overheat and bind on whilst your riding! Not ideal lol

  16. Going on Ebay in a couple of days time.
