Hello friends, I installed on my motorcycle two auxiliary LED headlights of 60 whats each. I made all the electrical connections, switch, auxiliary relay and etc. I plugged it directly into the battery and it's working. Could someone help me so I can connect this circuit somewhere post key. If I forget the headlights on, I run out of battery, calling the after key I avoid this situation.. Thanks
Are they actually 60 watts each, or is that the equivalent for conventional axillary halogen lighting? LED power draw maybe sufficiently low for the accessory circuit which is switched with the ignition.
Specification: Input voltage: 12v-24v dc LED power: 60w/1pc - (6 x 10w) - universal lead Luminous Flux: 3600lm ONLY LIGHT UP MODE Color temperature: 6000k Waterproof rating: IP67 the spec of the each headlights The problem is: in which place of the post key electrical circuit, to connect the headlights key?
There is an auxiliary power plug which will be sufficient to power on the auxiliary relay which you fitted. I will assume you have the switch to operate the relay. If so use the power from the auxiliary power supply to power the switch. A fused feed direct from the battery, through the relay to lights and all will be good. I have a 1200 enduro and the aux power supply was on the left hand side in front of the fuel tank. I'm sure someone will be able to direct you to it for your model.
