There's no doubt the guy has talent. I'm sorry to see him leave the paddock, but won't miss his interviews. I'm sure it's just his nasal way of speaking that makes him sound as though he's constantly whining, but his riding ability will be sorely missed.
Genius bike rider - not always consistent, but phenomenal when on form. Will be sadly missed, except no doubt by his competitors, who now know that when he is "on it" he is largely unbeatable.....
Aye, even his style is very similar these days, spinning it up, backing it in, good on the brakes now too which was a bit of an achilles with him not so long ago. The only concern or reservation I have is he physically strong enough to win a championship? Ignore that, yes he is. Bet he's kicking himself for binning it at Phillip Island.
I did that once, got my elbow down, then my shoulder, then my helmet, then the kerb came along! one trashed RSVR :frown:
Sheer poetry in motion . When I see Casey scraping his elbow and then I look at my virgin knee sliders, it makes me very sad . Must try harder next year .
Wow awesome!! Casey really has gone up in my estimation over the last year or so moving away from the moaner status.
Half a season, a great racer does not make. He's still seen as fragile, but next year will be very telling especially with MM sat in the same garage. There's no doubting DP is a great rider with a god given talent and if anybody deserves to win the title, its him. 2013 will probably be his last real chance
Could be Dani's year next year. Marquez won't be in the frame (he'll probably be in hospital for half the season) and Jorge will be busy keeping his teammate at bay.
