.........right on the elbow............hurts rather a lot. ....swelling now in bicep and forearm..........anti-biotics are slow in getting it under control...... Second time in about two years......... Bet it was the same ba***rd.............
The difference between wasps and horseflies is thàt horseflies really are out to get you... :/ Are you sure it's antibiotics, not antihistamines you need ??
Taking both............but considering where the flies have been before, the damn bite becomes infected very easily........ It's the time of year for the little sods to appear, and they hide in the shade until something tasty (or vulnerable) walks into the sun and heat.
Is now a good time to say that Horse Flies,Mosquito's,Midge's e.t.c. never bother me and keep their distance ?
Horseflies really are the spawn of Satan, and the little buggers can't get enough of me! Burn them all...

Thank F the swelling is now going down and not quite so painful....... It seems wherever I go whether urban or rural, if someone is going to get stung, it will be me........they don't bother Mrs AL at all (I tell her that's because she stinks).
