So 6 months ago I took the decision to relocate from UK to NL and instead of bringing my 1199 across, I decided to sell and buy another bike in NL. At that moment in time this looked like a wise decision... No need to arrange transport, no import processes etc. Little did I know!!! To cut a long story short, the biggest problems were almost the total lack of not only Ducati's but in general superbikes, at least 75% of all bikes I viewed were not 'right'... no service history, high kilometers (more that 20,000) and last but not least crazy prices for used bikes. I got desperate! I looked in getting a bike from UK and importing it, I tried to change category going naked and looking at SF848/1098... Nothing worked for one reason or another and unfortunately the import option became very challenging due to frequent travel with work. One day I thought for fun to search also for 959 and not only 1199, after reading especially some nice reviews for the 959. I loved my 1199 but wanted to stick with a Ducati Panigale so had to open some more options and then it happened. I fell in love and picked it up today. First ride home, I must admit I missed the beast mode of the 1199 but when I got in to some nice slowish twisties it felt really great. Irrespective of power, engine and grunt etc I just love her looks! Ride safe guys!!!
