So I've been lingering in the background for the last few years after a change of jobs ended up with nearly 3 years in China since 2021.. and zero biking fun.. I guess like many Covid induced life changes ( moved into Self employment ) have taken there toll on free time etc. so onto 2024 and the start of the year and im lucky to have still my 1199 track bike and also my 1299 road bike, MOT ran out 2 years ago and managed to get that sorted last month. Assen booked for May for 2 days and so need to get back upto speed (mind and body) so i can get comfortable etc. so just had some new bike porn made by Phil over at Storm performance Fabrications as i bought a 1299r FE Exhaust for the bike for a hassle free road bike, abet with De cat option.. So what's the 2024 standard for track tires at the moment? used to have great success with the Contitrack slicks still a good option?
