Back with a vengeance......more commonly known as a 1098R

  1. Hi everyone,

Back in January, due to a lousy work situation i had to sell my pride and joy, a mint 848Evo which i'd owned from new. It was heartbreaking to see her go, but at the time i had no choice. It was not a great time for me.

10 months without a bike has been hard work. I've tried to fill my time with wine, women and song but nothing has compared to discomfort, cooked private parts, popping and banging Termis and the endless smile that only a Ducati can give.

So.......today, i purchased a 1098R to make up for lost time

"if you are going to be a bear, be a Grizzly".......

    It's good to be back!

  4. She's been fitted with a full titanium Akrapovic system, so i'm sure she'll sound amazing!

  5. Will be interested to hear from any 1098R owners, with things to watch out for/general ownership advice!

  8. Yes, Moto Rapido. Looked at another one this morning and it wasn't great, a bit dog-eared. The Moto-Rapido bike was utterly immaculate, the previous owner had looked after her very, very well.

  9. Got to be the best bike Ducati have made in the last few years.

    Great buy.

  14. Thanks mate, did wonder if you were still lurking around on this fair forum!

Think you can keep the bolts, i've already done my shopping list for the 1098R........it's not small!

  15. That 1098R has got to be worth 10 months without a Ducati to ride.

    Enjoy!:upyeah:
