Balancing Weights

  1. Got a pair of PR4s fitted to my multi on Saturday and couldnt be more impressed, anyone on the fence about these should definitely go for it!
One thing ive just noticed is theres not a single balancing weight on the rear (5g on front)
Ive read this can happen but its rare
Bike seems fine at all speeds but i dont really know what im feeling/listening for
Should i take it to be re balanced or would an unbalanced wheel be obvious ?

  2. We need our balancing done on the car. Big steering wheel wobble at bang on 70mph. Never had it on a bike but you can surely feel it even more?

  3. Less noticable on the rear but yes you should notice if out by much. A gram or two probably not imo

  4. It's possible the wheel doesn't need weight, but a lot of rears don't get balanced because the shop doesn't have the adaptor for the single sided rears. They're expensive for dynamic balances and unless they do a lot of single sided wheels, then they don't bother...
