My darling wife is beginning to understand my Crimbo pezzie needs and thoughtfully gave me a set of Ducati Performance bar ends this year. Brilliant or so i thought. Fitting looked dead simple....wrong. The diameter of the bar end brass top hat nut is 3mm larger than the end of the handlebar. After an hour or so trying to persuade it in i had to have some Turkey and pudding. Eventually had to mill down the 3mm and replace the rubber expansion lug with a piece of fuel pipe i had lying round in the garage. Looks nice now though. So be warned. (Ducati parts at my local dealer assured me these were the correct bar ends for my 2009 1098s S SF. Happy New Year SF owners.:wink:
Nightmare I also got some of these for my 1198s and they fitted no bother There were 3 different size rubber inserts in mine? Glad you got sorted
