1260 Bar Risers Possible ?

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by pcn1, Aug 12, 2022.

  1. Just a thought, is there enough slack in the cables etc to fit a 1 inch bar riser ?

    Cheers

  2. There are a couple of options I’ve used both. Ducati (via Touratech) do a rising/lowering kit which gives 25mm increase (the lowering was for the Enduro). There is also a 30mm riser that Ducati now make themselves. This is the one I have now and it’s an easy fit.

  3. I fitted the Ducati risers, didn’t have to extend anything

  4. Could I ask what aspect this improves?,comfort , reach etc

  5. I found I was getting pain in my shoulder and the risers mean you are a little more upright which makes it less of a stretch.

The 30mm ones were better for me.

Easy to install just mark the position of the bars before you remove them so they go back on evenly.

  6. Although I'm tall at 6'3", I sit right at the back of the seat which is good for my my legs, but even with my long arms its still a bit of a "reach" to the bars. Not bad, but maybe if they were slightly higher and back it may be more comfortable.

For £30 its maybe worth a go

  7. Ive fitted narrower bars on mine, more comfortable than the stock bars.
Can't remember the name but the 90mm difference is lovely, better in traffic, best mod in my opinion
