Bar Risers V4

  1. Hi

I have a Ducati Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak and V4 Panigale.

This is my third Multi and love it, great bike. Unfortunately I fell for the V4 on a short test ride and the looks of the Panigale blew me away.

I appreciate it’s a shortsbike but in the 550 odd miles I’ve done since purchase can’t get away from wrist pain which is ruining the riding enjoyment.

Rather than sell it, does anyone know if any bar risers as this had a big impact on comfort from a previous bike a zz1400

    Any guidance appreciated, thanks

  2. Bigger question would be I think; do the cables/hoses to the bar controls have enough slack in them to allow you to fit risers? Which would mean the reservoirs will be further away from the bike.

  3. Ask Helibars?

  5. I've just put Helibars on my 999 and they help considerably but with my neck, my wrists are fine.
For the 999, the bars they sell are designed to give you the most comfortable riding position possible without needing to modify the bike to achieve it.
They look totally oem but in fact have less droop from inside to outside and it makes all the difference. I can now ride in comfort :)

Hopefully, they sell something similar for the V4.

  6. Have you tried some stomp grips on the tank? Might help you take your weight off the bars. They don't cost a lot.

  7. Was about to say the same as above re stomp grips; it makes a huge difference on the Pani and I wouldn't ride without them.

The other thing that makes a big difference is the angle of the levers. The stock position is often too high which gives wrist pain.

  8. Helibars don’t do anything for the V4

  9. Might be worth asking them if there’s anything in the pipeline

  10. I have, there isnt
