What shampoo do people use to wash their bikes. The last two I have bought have been crap, well no bubbles if thats a measure of quality.
washing bikes is a new thing for me but just used simoniz. a quick spray of wd40bike cleaner quick rince, wash down with the simoniz looks good even started to polish the pipes on the ugly. damn my O.C.D.
I don't really understand why some people care about shit like this. I use whatever I can find - currently some Muc Off and the remnants of some old Turtle Wax car shampoo I've had for years. It does the job. It takes all sorts tho I s'pose - whatever floats your boat
Dont use water, unless washing gunk off if I have used that. When I have used a bit, I have some of that foam stuff which works well Steer clear of muck off if you want any fasteners left and even a modicum of condition on the rest
I use this because @nelly recommended it and he knows more than me. Used it once and was very happy with it.
Whichever's cheapest when I need to buy it. Last time it was 'big orange'. Doesn't take the nice glossy wax off that I put on once a year.
Bought some of the Char recommended Megulars purple car shampoo, Turtle wax bug and tar remover and some micro-fibre cloths, a vast improvement
I've used this for years - brilliant stuff. Extreme Slick Synthetic -Acrylic Polymer Detailer (Anti-Static) Is 10k miles on a 1098R not enough?
Barely technical indeed should be in here Detailing and cleaning | Ducati Forum Whatever shampoo you use always 'dry' the bike with a soft towel after rinsing it
