  1. i am about to arrive at a milestone age wise on Thursday. The wife is still going to work as norm and as usual is staying over at her friends till Friday
Me I thought I could do better than work so I have taken 2 weeks off. Mainly because if I don't use it I lose it.
For the past few springs I have had a mini cruise on the Hull Ferry
This year I checked Wednesday night out Thursday in Belgium Thursday night home. £307 if I take the car £309 if I take the bike. What the F*** the bike is £2 dearer
Wife said you have got it wrong when she did it on line it was £67 but that was a foot passenger when she added the bike £311
First I fire off an e mail get automated reply we will answer within 14 days.
3pils down nah I will ring them
    First offer 240 no thanks
I am now going for £119 with a breakfast both ways that's more like it
    It's good to talk

  2. Sorry but your post is really confusing. Any chance you could explain whatever point it is you are trying to make?

  3. on line purchasing is crap.

  4. those in the real world understand it....

they wanted to charge him more for a bike than a car
he negotiated on line waste of time
he rings and didn't accept their first offer
takes their next offer with breakfast and a lot cheaper than the first..

and the message is its good to talk....

  14. In Bruges?

  15. There doesn't seem to be any bartering involved at all. Perhaps it's just the title of the thread which is confused.

  16. get ya, no exchange of services or property involved.

  17. bartering is exchanging goods or services for other goods or services.

haggling is arguing over the price..
