Stupid question time. The dealer fitted a TM type connector when I use SAE. I want to swap out the cable but can't work out how to get it past the plastic housing and the frame. I assume that the plastic piece can be moved in some way but I have no idea how. Im sure it's simple once you've done it once already.
It’s should just about squeeze through between the black plastic and red frame. Or disconnect the cable and pull it through
I prefer the connector you have, easier to connect and disconnect. Buy one of these adapter cables: O7 SAE to TM Converter (optimate.co.uk)
In the top of your picture you can see a plastic/rubber “plug”, has a”grip” embossed into it. Pull that out then you can wiggle the cable around it. Pretty sure that’s what I did with same issue.
Thanks Senoj, the trick of removing the rubber plug worked. Taking off the fuse cap and removing the fuse lowered the profile and it was even easier. The right charging plug is now in place.
