Rich form Bristol. Just acquired a Diavel 2013. Can anyone let me know where the connection is to charge the battery. I have 2 connections under the seat one of which I think is a diagnostics connection. Any help would great.
Take a photo and upload it....it could be a tender connection like an optimate....in which case, if it is....buy and optimate!
Didn't want to sound like an argumentative post (although it probably looked like it was) its just that there's lots of different manufacturers of battery tenders and they all have different connectors. Ironically optimate have 2 types....if you take a photo then youll see what tender to buy but in all fairness whatever tender you do buy will normally come with the small flylead that youre looking at now. I suppose you can take heart by knowing that whoever did fit it knew to do it and so in turn probably looked after the rest of the bike also.... Im in Bristol as well, so may see you around....I live about a mile away from riders so Ill cast my eye round the car park next time....which leads me on to say....pics!

Thanks for your post Comfysofa. I'm new to forums as you've probably guessed. Not being able to charge the battery shouldn't be a problem until the later in the year, so will get an optimate connector fitted before then. being old school I can take the battery out to charge it.
Yep - you can but, youre in Bristol, nip down to fowlers....they sell them. Go into the Honda showroom and then into spares, ask for Craig (a mate of mine) - they should have them in stock (optimate 4). The nice thing about optimate stuff is they do a range of connectors that plug onto the fly lead....led light, usb plug...etc etc..very handy...of which ill be taking to the TT with me...
