  1. as we come to winter i am going to need a batery tender as just leaving the bike a week has it showing low battery when starting.
I read peoiple say there is an optimate lead supplied with the bike but mine doesnt have one
So i have an optimate, can i attach that connector or is there a better way, ie buying a bike specific tender that plugs into the dda?
Love to know what people are using

Check the list of compatible bikes I understand this works with all Euro5 bikes, I bout it for the 1260s diavel, I cut off the optimate soldered a a standard 2 pin waterproof bike connector on and then made up a 2 pin lead for Ctek and optimate can plug either in and use what you like, I charge with the Ctek and use the optimate2 lead for such as my heated vest (max of 7A)

  4. Mine has the O1 Optimate SAE fused permanent connector, which was fitted by the dealer when I bought the bike new. Its connected directly to the battery and was originally routed under the RHS fairing and protruded out next to the exposed black frame. I subsequently re-routed it out along the front RHS wiring loom and it is now fastened just under the front brake reservoir, as below.

  5. Does the noco genius just have crocodile clips or can a permanent connection be made To the battery

  6. Comes with a pig tail lead that can either go straight on the battery or you can attach the lead to included crocodile clips. I’m very happy with my NOCO’s, I’ve got 4 on the go. Andy

  7. Comes with a fly lead. The croc clips are fitted to the charger by using the ring connectors for the battery terminals on the fly lead.
