1199 Battery

  1. Which should it be.
There seems to be 2 schools of thought.
    YuasaYT12B-BS
    Or Yuasa YT7-BS

The 12 has more Amp hours and cold cranking amps. Which is fine so long as it fits.

Last time I fitted a Motobatt. It was a bitch to fit as the terminals were slightly differently positioned and I don't think it's lasted 2 years. In short, crap.

  2. I did 2 searches on the Yuasa site. On came up with the 12 the other came up with the 7.

I actually think it's the 7. As I recall the Panigale battery is a bit smaller than the 12 battery.

If anyone can confirm I'd appreciate it.

  3. Get a lithium battery
Light as hell and bugger all more money

  4. Sorted.
Reserved one over the phone through Halfords.

I didn't want any problems with a lithium. Disappointed enough with the Motobatt only lasting 2 years and it's had an easy life. Certainly don't recommend.
1 year guarantee. What good is that? Surely you'd expect 3years which is what I got out of the previous Yuasa.
