Hi All, Steve B at BBB Fabrications has been making up a bracket for my SL cans... I have tried getting in contact with him the last week or so to no avail (initial contact was via email,) but now not getting a reply and the phone numbers on the website either don't exist or go straight to Voicemail... My question is, has anyone heard anything from him of late, or can anyone contact him and ask him to contact me, Ben. As I've paid up for the bracket, just awaiting it! Please, don't take this as a negative review or anything, it is merely an attempt at contacting Steve, as i know he is well known on here Cheers, Ben
Ben, Steve is a busy guy, and I know he's about as he posted some pictures on FB earlier today. I've sent him a message on your behalf.
Cheers mate... I appreciate he is busy just trying to get in contact as I thought it not like him to not reply to Email etc. mainly to ensure everything's good like I said before please please don't take thus as a negative thing... Even, admin can you delete this if needs be?

Well, I must say thanks guys for your efforts, but I cannot help but feel I am being shafted on this one Here's the background: I emailed him via the email address detailed on his website, to get a bracket made up for my superlight exhausts back on 24th April. He was happy to help and over the next couple of days I knocked up a diagram and we agreed a price and I paid him via PayPal gift (now regretting that one!) Anyway, 1st May I email to see how we are going, and I am told he's a little behind and would post 1st class - fair enough he's a busy guy etc and has been fantastic so far. 6th May rolls around, and I had expected it to be here by now, what with 1st class post etc. and was told it went on Saturday. Fair enough, I waited for it... And a bit of banter to and fro about 888 owners and SS owners - a lovely bloke 8/5 package was returned with a damaged label. I must admit, at this point I begun to wonder. but, these things happen so with the promise of it being re sent the following day I was happy. 12/5 I message as it was a no show, am told it was sent 1st class, not recorded. - bugger! 13/5 still nothing, but Steve kindly offered to make a new one and post 1st class recorded asap - I even offer at this point to pay extra for a second go. ''Both'' are still a no show, and despite numerous emails, phone calls (numbers either don't work or go straight to voicemail) AND you kind people on here contacting him for me - Nothing! - I am starting to feel like I've been ripped off I know a lot of people on here know him and trust him etc. But this isn't right! Can someone either A) ask him again to contact me or B) advise me what to do next! Steve, if you read this, please get in contact - PM me or email me!
That's very unlike Steve? I've sent him another message on your behalf, I'm hoping all's ok with him?
Thanks for your help! Hope I hear from him tomorrow then I thought, going on other people's reviews of Steve/BBB , it was unusual. Do hope he's alright though, and I must stress again, this isn't a thread aimed at leaving a negative review! Only to get things sorted as all other avenues failed!
The thing about forums is sometimes it can be the only way to get hold of people! Hopefully it'll be sorted, he did say to me that he'd already sent 2, which ties in with what you posted.

Just thought I would like to add another positive review for Steve B. After a frustrating (and expensive) attempt to get my frame sorted by a well know main dealer I eventually contacted Steve who could not have been more helpful. He gave me a quote and then did a good job on time and on budget - I found him really easy to deal with.
Steve said he could talk to me all day..............I don't know if that means he finds me 'interesting' or if he was bored...... ........but as I have the first set of SS footrest risers (because I designed them, I guess ) I have had to talk to Steve about several items that he intends making............. ................I wouldn't expect him to let anyone down..........
