SWMBO and the two lads are going tonight (#2 son got the tickets free as he has arranged a lot of the parking/logistics etc for all the celebs). I could have gone but I can't be arsed getting suited and booted on a Sunday. I'm stopping in to watch it on TV. Oh and I think Murray will win it.
All of the people in the final 10 are truly world class. Any one of them deserves the title based purely on their achievements in their chosen sport. I would narrow down my choice as follows : Not in the top 3 because.... Should be in the overseas section : McCoy ; Farah ; Rose ; Froome Drugs cheat : Ohurougu Helped the yanks win something : Ainsley Current debacle in Aussie : Bell 3) Murray. I don't like tennis. 2) Halfpenny. Keeps helping Wales to beat England! 1) Cockcroft. She is bloody good at what she does, and has an engaging personality. I suspect that McCoy, Farah, Murray will feature in the top 3, with Farah winning the crown.
I have a compelling proposition for you. Could you give me the winners at the next meeting at Kempton Park and cover my stake money if you get any wrong?
I have to say that Leigh Halfpenny coming second threw me. I voted for Hannah Cockcroft. Wtf do I know :smile:
