Belt Change And Valve Check. Best Indie Mid To South Uk

  1. Hi,

    I need to have my belts changed and the valve clearance checked on my 848. I am London based and all the main guys here seem booked up and very expensive.

    I have been speaking with Ducati John who has provided an excellent service so far, but he is quite a long way north.

    I'm in a bit of a rush for this job and am happy to travel to say Birmingham, Bristol etc from London.

    Does anyone have any recommended indie's who really care about the bikes they work on and for the right money... Old school bike mechanics are my preference.

  4. There's a ex main dealer and engine builder just gone out on his own he is in Eastleigh just off M3 near Southampton . Brilliant guy just done a full rebuild on my 1098 . His name is Paul his number is 07733 174990

  8. Rich at Louigi Moto near Bristol is top notch, always a workshop FULL, of Ducati. Next door for remaps ;) My little 749s has never felt so good, 110 at the wheel. If you are coming this way, book in, I'll be going back.

    DO NOT use JHS Racing, absolute bunch of robbing c##ts, and talk out of their you know what. Rich at Louigi almost had a seizure when he looked at the work they had done prior.

  9. Surprised he's not been referenced already - Geoff Baines at Baines Racing (Silverstone) sounds just the ticket for you. Hugely respected and knowledgeable, and a lovely guy.

  12. I know Dave from years past we used to do his dyno work back in the day when he was superbike privateer and winner awesome rider been spannering a long time now. Knows his stuff
