Saw this Beast at the NEC one year? HUGE supercharger one side: and one the other side - a heffin great turbo! Probably didnt corner well but by God-straight line speed would have been EPIC.
Now there's a tax disc debate.......if ever I saw one! impressive bit of engineering from someone. in helmet city tatsfield (other helmet suppliers are available) the other day and they had what appeared to be a bike with a Chrysler v8 in the middle thrust producing area. Don't know if it runs.
There was a Viper V10 engine'd bike at the same show! Trying to find pics... Here's a few more coz: Its Cold, dark & wet out and some Filth to oggle would be nice right now. Bizarre!!
Wud'da thought it?? If Honda had made that as a Firestorm then perhaps they wouldnt have been so dull? I LOVE Honda's and have had many, looked at the Firestorm & SP1/2 before getting the SS? The Firestorm was just Yawn.com & the SP's a little too much sportsbike for what I wanted? The pillion seat is like a mouse-mat etc...
I like Always fancied one of these, maybe because my Dad raced one in his youth which I'm sure influenced my liking for them but, regardless it has to be one of the coolest looking bikes made IMHO.
Indeed! I have a soft spot for all the "Proper" motorcycles, something with a lot of soul & character! My mate has just replaced his crashed CBR6 jellymould with a new 53-plate Yam Divvy6? Steath black and all, I haven't raised the enthusiasm to go round and coo over it yet lol
Probably a right pig to ride, so maybe best I don't actually get one. Which is just as well because I think it'd be out of my budget anyway.:frown: I love Italian bikes and cars but if I ever strike it rich there are two British vehicles I'd be buying; a Manx 500 and an E-type convertible as I reckon they're the best, certainly as good as (or better than) any Ducati/MV/Ferrari etc of the era.
