How often do you recommend to start the engine to move the cam belts over winter if you cant get out? weathers been that bad I don't want to take the bike out on the horribld wet salty roads! Or is is moving the back wheel in gear enough? does it need doing?
good question... if belts are changed ever 2 years as recommended, i wonder if one has ever failed due to not being moved for certain period of time... personally id doubt it...
I change the belts on my track 749R every 3 years. I never touch it over the winter and, so far, all has been fine.
