Hi Guys, are the belts changed at a certain mileage or is it a time span thing, the reason i am asking is that i am selling my 848 and the belts were done at 13000 miles, the bike now has 18500 miles, the belts were changed about 7-8 years ago, so would anyone know if they would need changing. many thanks.
Belts are the least of your worries. They need replacing. It will also need a desmo service given what you have asked. That makes a belt change look very cheap.
This might help mate but you might need to download the latest version as this one might not be the current copy. Tells you what and when all the maintenance needs doing.
