999 Belts

Discussion in '749 / 999' started by 531AL, Apr 16, 2015.

  1. I know this has already been discussed but where's the best place to buy belts? Moto rapido are £133 a pair for genuine Ducati ones. I've seen Dayco ones on ebay for £37.95 each so was going to go for these. I've also seen Exactfit ones on ebay for £92 not sure if that's for the pair? Any help appreciated.

    Cheers,
    AL

  2. I had your same issue matey, don't go Dayco in my opinion . I trawled and trawled the Internet and managed to get some from Germany for £90 . But can't find the bloody website as I've changed phones since. I'll have a gander but I'm sure I posted it here at some point.

I wanted to go cheap as possible but in the end I just could not warrant the risk and heard bad things about dayco failing from us websites. The yanks swear by the exact fit ones but I haven't heard any feedback from our side of the pond.

One day they will no doubt come down in price . Good luck with the search buddy. I'm sure one of the gurus will be along shortly to give you a great point of contact.

  3. Cheers for reply. How long did the belts take to arrive from Germany? I was hoping to catch some of this fine biking weather
