Can't recommend these guys enough, Ryan & Matt got it spot on with there deal for me, a company that understands common sense ! Panigale 1299 s and my ZZR 1400 sport performance £527
How about you come back when you bang a claim in? See if it's all chummy first names then, selling the policy is the easy part:Yawn:
Take it easy Umbra, I was just stating fact on how good a deal it was, compared to others, nearest to them was Ramasis at £566 plus they wanted road angel trackers fitted. If you've had issues with them then fair enough.
Based on all of the positive comments I've read on this forum and other sites, I decided to obtain a renewal quote from Bemoto today. As suggested the customer service was excellent, they dealt with my enquiry in a friendly but professional manner and it was quite obvious that they have a good knowledge of bikes. They provided me with the same level of cover for two bikes as I've had in previous years but added in additional helmet / leathers cover as well and their quote was more than £200 less than my existing renewal quote! I'm not one to normally write reviews but I'm really impressed with Bemoto so far and would recommend you at least try them for a quote. I appreciate it's early days and as mentioned previously, the real test of how good a company actually is probably occurs when you have to make a claim, but my cover has been provided through a major insurance company which provides reassurance and if Bemoto's service remains at the current level I'll be extremely happy. For once I actually feel that I'm viewed as a valued customer. The reverse of this is when I called my previous broker (a major bike insurance broker in the UK) and explained that I had managed to find equal cover for much less, they asked what I'd like my premium to be??? I pointed out that I shouldn't have to barter and surely they should simply give me the cheapest premium for the level of cover I required only to be told "It doesn't work like that."
Just insured a second bike with Bemoto. They added it to anther bike policy I took out earlier. AXA again so not some cover-your-arse policy with an off-shore fly-by-night. As with the last one it wasn't much cheaper - it was there or the abouts with the cheapest on the comparison sites but Bemoto offered a much better package of extras for the same money, lower excess and better customer service - quick, personal and efficient. They managed to combine the two bikes onto one policy whilst maintaining a separate NCB record for each. That's useful. Its not all about the bare premium. If they can remain competitive next year I'll be sticking with them.
I've just left MCE or will do in 12 days when my policy expires and joined Bemoto after reading this thread, i was paying £360 TPFT with MCE with not very good benefits like leather and helmet cover etc etc. Did a price comparison yesterday bearing in mind i only have 2 years NCB on my 848 EVO and only had my licence just over two years also and Bikesure came up as £340 fully comp Read this thread and though i would give Bemoto a go, spoke this morning to a guy called Jack who was very helpful, didn't take long to do 15 mins on the phone and he had two prices for me. Carbon Cover - £304 Titanium cover - £334 I went with titanium cover which includes FULL UK and Europe breakdown insurance with RAC, 90 day covered insurance across Europe, £100K legal expenses, pillion cover, Excess was only £350 (MCE is was £550) £1500 towards helmet and leathers (MCE was £350!) I'm realistic I didn't expect much of a drop as i say haven't been riding that long... but there is just something smug and a warm feeling i get breaking away from MCE Happy with my deal
I went with Bemoto last year when I bought the 1299 after being advised on here. Great company service and also quoted 100 quid to add my R1 when the time comes at the end of this month. I'd highly recommend them Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Going with them too... Got a good price & almost £100 cheeper than my current ins. (who I can't complain about). Better package too! Keep it up BeMoto and Ill be back...
Hadn't heard of these guys before reading this thread a couple of days ago. Gave them a call last night for a 3 sportbike policy but as it was late he couldn't speak to the underwriters. Should hear back this morning and will update.... Have to say that the conversation with Nick was good, he really knows his bikes and informed me all who work there are avid bikers so take it very seriously. Interesting that they asked if I did track days as they feel that those who do are better able to control their bike(s). Makes perfect sense but not sure I've ever been asked that by any other company. I guess the proof is in the pudding when the quote comes back....
OK, they came through well at just over £200 lower than my current insurer with lower excesses on all 3 bikes. Still over £900 but that's the price of riding in London I guess. Oh, and that is with full disclosure of mods including exhausts, rear sets, additional carbon, levers, tail-tidies etc. on all 3 bikes. Pretty happy with that! Only downside is that to protect my NCB would be another £100 which is steep. Unsure whether to do so as have 14 years...
Also worth a mention to BeMoto that you saw them advertised on 44teeth website. You then get a £500 excess contribution against a claim....
