Just reinsured with them. Just thought id put up my thoughts...stuff theyve told me (nothing bad) and the general experience. Ive come from MCE and their renewal quote for my 4 bikes (KTM525 supermoto, z1000 Gen4, RSV4 factory Non APRC and hypermotard 1100evo sp) was 780 quid fully comp with a 500 excess on each of them. I did phone them back before i went to BeMoto to give them the chance but they declined.... So, back to the positives. First and foremost i called them at 5.55 (Closing in 5 mins) just to make contact. I knew it would take ages to get it all down but they insisted on staying on the call - i was happy to call back the next day but they took everything down there and then (40 mins in total) first tick... I handed over all of my info...without going too much into it i told them of the 3 accidents the other half had 2 of which were not her fault and the third...questionable as the other party developed a wrist injury 2 weeks afterwards...and he was an asshole so my wife tells me...the other accident was mine 4 years ago, my fault. While MCE used these as a reason to load my premium BeMoto discounted all of them as "your wife is never going to go near your bikes to ride and the bike accident was 4 years ago so thats too old now..." another tick.... The cover was better. I informed them of all of the mods including ecu flashes, the paint job on the Hyper (Pramac). All ok...another tick. Cover: Fully comp, complimentary RAC national gold cover on them all. Protected no claims, pillion cover, solicitors cover, clothing cover also. The only caveat is that i cant ride anyone else bike and i dont get track day cover the latter im kinda glad with as mates cant say "go on have a go..." as the last time i did that it ended up in one written off r6 so im kinda happy with that. I must also have them chained to the wall while theyre in the garage for theft cover at home. Im 48 this year so no spring chicken but that resulted in a 630 quid premium with a 300 excess for each and a 250 excess on the supermoto. From start to finish they were polite, helpful and couldnt do enough for me. Just thought id say.
Well, i watched the owner being interviewed by BvG and thought what a nice bloke....thought id give them a try...i could have maybe shopped round more but they were so helpful i thought, hey, because of that theyve earned my business...
I swapped from Ducati insurance to Bemoto,very happy with the price and cover and service,saved me £300.
Mine due in Sept, seems I need to check these out as currently with Bennett's. Will let you know how I get on.
Got three bikes with Bemoto. Premiums to match the best of the price comparison sites but with better cover from underwriters you've actually heard of and vastly better customer service. Assuming they remain competitive on renewal I'll have no reason to look elsewhere.
