Homemade screen fitted today (no it`s not cheating) works Ok......Then as the Sun is still out !!! went round and round and round like all the other bikers in the Midlands UK. http://www.justgiving.com/END2ENDX2ducatichallenge
when I`ve got another spare 8 hours I`ll go into mass production, bespoke made to measure. Perspex easy to cut out, shaped in oven (160-180 degs) draped on pre formed radius steel sheet curved former, with matching steel former weighted on top. About 20 minutes per pound cooking time ha ha. aluminium parts took much longer, hinged adjustable,I don`t know why.
did think of that myself, welders grinding visor and some cable ties. racing Norton`s actually used wire mesh, think they were used as "stone screens" Isle of Man TT etc.
The early Manx styled Tritons built in collaboration with the Triumph factory also had the crudely made wire mesh screens you mention.
