  1. Hi all, bought my first Ducati, a 749, last year and need to book it in for belts change and service before May .. Can anyone recommend Ducati specialists/independents reasonably close to Brighton? Nearest main dealer is P&H in Crawley but I hear they're very pricey
    Cheers

  2. Try the lads at Pro Twins, they are based in South godstone.
They have been the same team of people for years, have been servicing my Ducati's since 1998 and I've never used any other dealers as I've always been 100% happy with the service.

  3. If its just a basic service and belt change then you could probably take it to anyone really; or do it your self. Otherwise it could cost quite a lot compared to the price of a 749...
If it's shims that need doing; then best take it to a proper Ducati specialist...

  4. WM Snells Alton, or if you want tuning a little farther west to Motorapido Winchester

  5. John Hackett? Tony Brancato? That Baines fella? Ducatii John? Steve Hilary? Neil Spalding?

  6. Thanks fellas ... used Steve Jordan for suspension set-up last year so may well go back there, Pro Twins sounds like a good option too

  7. Pro Twins in Godstone - just done a review. Wouldn't touch P & H with a bargepole

  8. Thanks Laura, more positives for Pro Twins ... Motorcycle Workshop in Bolney is a fair bit closer to me, would you still go for Pro Twins anyway?

  9. Tony at Bolney is absolutely my first choice for general stuff and he's worked on all my bikes for the last 10 years or so. My ducati had a particular fuelling issue which is why I took it to Pro Twins. Tony did the belts etc for me and is a Ducati fan. Pro Twins knew exactly what the problem was and it's run like a dream ever since

  10. My original response was based more on avoid P&H rather than go to Pro Twins and not Tony

  11. Thanks, I'll give him a call

  12. Think you have been misinformed about P&H mate they are the same price as Pro Twins, I have used both my preference is P&H, always had good treatment there :)

  13. Who's done a review you ? Where?
