As title, where is my best bet for OEM or as good as parts at the most reasonable price, Looking for a timing belt kit in particular, quoted £80 for a set of 2 for my monster from Ducati dealer Hoping there's some decent aftermarket parts available Cheers
Hey, I dont know about OEM parts but if you're interested in aftermarket bits, I've recently discovered MV Agusta & Ducati Racing Special Parts - Design Corse Online Store They have a good selection and reasonably priced ducati bits. I've bought some DNA high flow filters for my 999 from them, and getting a tinted screen as well. might be worth a look, not sure if they have belts but they have some nice bits and bobbs and i know they have clutch kits.
oh no, here we go with the Gates belts, citroen belts (?) and OE belts fiasco. Original parts come from original parts suppliers mainly - Ducati dealers. There are parts that are the same as original and can be sourced elswhere - fuel filters - fuel pumps - oil pressure switches etc. and parts similar to OE - KN oil filters. But belts is a very hairy question, are the none oe ones to the same spec?
I find MotoRapido are the best for OEM stuff and I doubt whether there is a better parts bloke around..... .....however, I was recently surprised by the hike in some OEM stuff......The tank breather valve was £31.60, now £48.77......
I've had a look on Moto Rapido and the set of belts is £77.50 with free delivery so can't complain about that Thanks for all the advice though! It's been greatly helpful!
