Got a chance to get cheap tickets for Catalunya MOTO GP; want to book up tonight. Options are to go in Grandstand A, D or G. Any recommendations most gratefully received as I've never been there. I'll post link to cheap ticket as soon as I get home... Cheers, Bob
The general admission ticket I got in 2013 was great, free to roam and sit on any of the grassy areas, lots of choice and freedom once you're there to pick a good spot. Plus, the atmosphere was ace, lots of cheering Spaniards around you, good views of the giant TV screens and as it is incredibly hot an open grandstand stuck to one spot can be a bit of a killer!
If you visit the GPTicket shop web site, it has a map of the circuit with all the TV screen locations. We have had seats opposite the pits twice and the end of the start/finish straight once. I loved the atmosphere opposite the pits and we saw "that" overtake move by Rossi on Lorenzo on the last bend from our seats. I will say however the end of the straight with all the bikes hurtling towards us was a spectacular sight. Andy
